Jason Anderson here with some very exciting news. 

This year, I was finally able to quit my job and take on internet marketing as my full time venture.  I'm finally making the money I need to support myself without answering to a "boss".  What's really cool, especially these days is...I only need to fill my gas tank up about once every 6 weeks because I don't need to get up and drive to a job anymore.

I FINALLY realized the value of having my OWN UNIQUE product.  I had a membership site called "Promo Code Software" developed for me.   Maybe you're familiar with it.  Anyway, I had an idea in my head of a product that could help me with my own affiliate promotions but I couldn't find the exact solution I needed that would help me.

I wanted a script that I could put on my websites that would allow me to place a simple promotion code input box that would redirect visitors to a discount sales page...or a special offer page, or an affiliate promotion....basically a way to create special codes that I could advertise to get people to come back to MY site or blog and enter promo codes so I could...............well, I won't bore you with all the details of what and why I wanted it done.  Bottom line?  I wanted something that did NOT exist.  At least not the way I wanted it to work.

I searched the net for solutions, purchased various scripts, took the time to learn how to install and use them, read the user manuals, and spent a LOT of time trying to implement the promo code scripts into my own marketing campaigns.

You know what?

NONE of the scripts I purchased worked EXACTLY the way I wanted them to work.  I just spent 2 full weeks and a couple hundred bucks only to discover that I was no closer to my goal.

I was tired of spending days on end searching for the right product only to find products that only did 1/3rd of what I wanted them to do.  Some of the scripts had a few of the features I wanted but every single one of them lacked ALL the features I needed.

(Funny though...the sales pitch on their websites made me think each one was the ultimate solution.)

So I figured I'd just develop the solution myself.

Once I had the product developed, I figured other marketers may be interested in the software too.  That's when I decided to turn it into an online service so I could sell the same product that I developed for myself to OTHER people who wanted to do the same type of marketing I was doing.

It took me a while to find the right guys to do it and at a price I could afford. But I finally did it.

And you know what?

I've managed to gather a team of highly talented developers.  10 in all actually.  Some are graphic designers, some are programmers, some are webmasters.  As a team, they are able to tackle just about any task you can through at them.

In the last 4 months it has generated over $10,000 in membership sales.  Not too shabby for a site that took LESS than 40 hours to create.  Now, I don't know if your product or application will produce that type of revenue but I will tell you this.  Some marketers (who have their own product) would laugh (out loud) if they knew I only generated $10,000 in 4 months. 

Take, for example, a product I promoted a couple months ago.  Virtual Sales Agent (VSA).  It generated well over $200,000 in just 3 days time.  It took me 4 months just to reach 5% of what he generated in 3 days!!

No........my team didn't develop the product I'm referring too (but they have the capability).  It's just an example.  The point is, if you have your own product (especially software or an online service like mine) the amount of money you can possibly make is staggering.  Even if you have a sloppy launch and minimal promotion...that product is YOURS and YOU reap the benefits.

Why did VSA totally outperform MY Promo Code Software sales?  Well, it was all in how Dave Guindon, the creator, launched his product. 

Dave had a BIG launch and LOTS of affiliates.  I, on the other hand, never even really had a "launch" .  I just released it in a grass roots kind of way and contacted  a couple of affiliates.  Personally, I'm happy with what MY product has produced considering the lack of promotion I've done with it.

Now, in all fairness, I must admit that I had the sales page graphics, done elsewhere.  A good friend, Alex Albert, did the graphics for me.  I sell the membership through a digital delivery system call RAP (Rapid Action Profits), and did a lot of other work on my own...

But the actual server side script which is the actual guts of the site was developed by my team and the graphics inside the membership area were done by my team. It's the actual system that was developed in about 40 hours.

The team I've assembled can truly do some amazing work. Nearly all of them have ventured from corporate jobs...they aren't inexperienced in any way. However, as a team, we need to build our reputation and portfolio.
